Summary

In a late-night scene, Ye Wan Ning is pinned to the bed by Li Cang, who is angry about her spreading rumors. Despite her struggles, she teases him about marriage and demands a bride price, which infuriates him. Their playful banter escalates, leading to Li Cang cursing and Ye Wan Ning hiding in Zhu Hao Miao's bed to escape. Zhu Hao Miao, confused but willing to help for a price, agrees to protect her. Li Cang enters looking for Ye Wan Ning, but Zhu Hao Miao denies seeing her. After Li Cang leaves, Ye Wan Ning creates a barrier to ensure their safety. She explains to Zhu Hao Miao that her teasing of Li Cang caused the commotion.
