Summary

Bai Sha Sha and Mu Yi head northeast through icy plains towards the entrance of the second layer of the Nine Heavens Palace. They quickly navigate a snowstorm and arrive at a vast desert where many competitors are gathered. Bai Sha Sha suggests moving to the third layer, but Mu Yi decides to absorb the special energy present in the second layer. They sit down to refine this energy, which helps them both elevate their cultivation levels—Mu Yi to the eighth realm and Bai Sha Sha to the fourth realm. Excited, they enter the third layer, a flame world, but discover they cannot absorb its energy without risking the stability of the Nine Heavens Palace. They continue to the fourth layer, a water world, and then to the fifth layer, the Storm World, where they encounter fierce tornado storms that unexpectedly vanish.
