Summary

Despite their outward cheers, they internally doubt his ambitions. Maitreya assigns Guanghui Wang to retrieve a scripture seeker at Lingyun Crossing, causing Wang to feel both relief and tension. Meanwhile, Tripitaka and his disciples prepare a feast at Lingyun Pass, humorously debating cooking techniques. When Jie Yin arrives, he is bewildered by the sight of roasted meat, which Tripitaka insists is for him, despite Jie Yin's protests about not eating meat. The chapter ends with a humorous exchange as they prepare for the next adventure.
