Summary

Qin Shu calmly instructs A Shan to take A Ling and leave while she collects her reward from the Lord's Mansion. A Shan questions Qin Shu's lack of concern, but Qin Shu reassures her, stating that she will protect them. A Shan, intrigued by the treasures Qin Shu might possess, agrees to protect A Ling. As they prepare to leave, Qin Shu gifts A Shan a teapot, and they travel together for a night. A Shan gives Qin Shu a magical bead that allows her to sense Hai Yao two realms higher. After performing a Blood Oath on the bead, Qin Shu feels a strange connection. Upon returning, she finds her friends Chi Yu and He Xin, who express concern for her absence, relieved to learn she sent A Shan and A Ling away safely.
