Summary

Bai Xiaochun's unexpected rise to prominence as the Holy Turtle of the Holy Emperor Dynasty leaves the cultivators frustrated, as they can no longer act against him. The little turtle's theft of lotus seeds is overlooked after it is recognized by the Holy Emperor, who sees the turtle's value for his own cultivation. Meanwhile, Bai Xiaochun, striving to break through his cultivation barrier, finds himself envious of the little turtle's newfound status and privileges. After a period of stagnation in his progress, he devises a plan with the little turtle to obtain lotus roots from the Heavenly Pool, negotiating for a larger share of the spoils.
