Chapter 107: Grand General Niu. [111]
Summary
In the grand tent of the military camp, Grand General Niu Jin Da addressed his generals, ordering them to gather 20,000 troops for an expedition to conquer the Luoshui waterway. Li Su, a young and inexperienced military attaché, attended the meeting and caught Niu Jin Da's attention. Despite being weak and frail, Li Su was not dismissed from his duties. Niu Jin Da ordered him to follow him and share his ideas on military affairs, believing Li Su might be able to contribute to the army's success. Li Su was confused about why he was not fired, especially considering his small stature and limited abilities. He wondered if Emperor Li Shi Min had made a mistake in assigning him to the army. As the army prepared to depart, Li Su received instructions on his duties and was told to set up camp behind Niu Jin Da's tent.Full content
