Summary

In Hong Zhu Town, Chen Ping An and his companions face entry challenges due to strict household registration checks by armored guards. A Liang, with a gold ingot, breezes through, leaving others frustrated. Zhu He, lacking knowledge, attempts bribery but is rebuffed. Eventually, they meet Cheng Sheng, the station master, who reveals prior arrangements made by Zhu He's family, allowing them entry. The group navigates the bustling town, filled with shops and a lively atmosphere. They settle into accommodations at Pillow Post, where they receive letters from home. Lin Shou Yi, however, is disheartened by the brief and uninformative letter he receives, reflecting on his family's expectations.
