Summary

Lu Ya Shuang is rescued by Ye Fan in an herbal shop after a dangerous encounter. Sun Tian Ce, who arrives late, expresses concern but subtly warns Lu Ya Shuang to be cautious of outsiders. Ye Fan is thanked by Lu Ya Shuang, but Sun Tian Ce dismisses Ye Fan’s efforts, implying he is unworthy of her. Ye Fan and Chen Xuan Wu discuss the ancient martial arts families of Ning City, with Chen Xuan Wu cautioning Ye Fan about their power. Meanwhile, Su Qing Cheng notices Ye Fan’s absence and reflects on their strained relationship. The next day, Fang Si Yu informs Ye Fan that Yu Tuo, the owner of the Dragon-Seeking Auction House, seeks an important meeting, possibly regarding the Silver-Layered Ambergris.
