Summary

In the ancient Temple of Shattered Stars, power struggles unfold as Luo Wan Xiang, the Vice Master, seeks to secure his family's future by supporting the sixth Child of the Stars, Sikong Cuo, to ascend as the next Temple Master. With the current Temple Master absent and another Master incapacitated, Luo Wan Xiang seizes control. Meanwhile, Nie Tian, realizing the harsh realities of sect politics, faces unfair treatment and a stagnation in his cultivation due to insufficient resources. He exhausts his merit points on ancient beast and demon corpses but finds his Life Bloodline's requirements unmet. Forced to seek opportunities, he contemplates taking on sect tasks to gather more merit points, despite being deemed unqualified for current missions.
