Summary

Yun Shi, a gifted child from the Fu family's retainer, rose to prominence in the Heavenly Realm alongside his peers. After the fall of Yongjing City, he and others evacuated to Yunzhou, where they faced a decade-long siege by the Demon Race. Despite severe resource shortages and casualties, Yun Shi led efforts to resist the demons, advocating for the involvement of common people. With the withdrawal of some demon forces, hope emerged as the Crown Prince reappeared. Yun Shi's clone body remained intact due to the collective will of the people, enabling him to achieve unity of spirit and flesh. By the ninth year of Longqing, most demons in Yunzhou were eradicated, although cleanup efforts continued.
