Summary

In the second year of Yanhe, soldiers at Luntai City prepare for an impending siege as they hear distant sounds of approaching forces. The squad leader alerts everyone, and the city quickly mobilizes for defense, digging trenches and preparing weapons. Li Sheng, aware of the threat posed by Li Ling and the Xiongnu, realizes Luntai is isolated and must hold out for a month and a half until reinforcements arrive. As the Xiongnu surround the fortress, they deploy catapults, prompting Li Sheng to take immediate action to protect the city. Meanwhile, Li Ling commands his troops to attack, determined to capture Luntai despite the risks involved.
