Summary

Three rascals encounter Bai Xiao Chun and, fearing he is an immortal, one of them attacks him with an axe. The axe breaks upon hitting Bai Xiao Chun, resulting in the attacker’s death. The remaining rascals flee in terror. Bai Xiao Chun, groggy and irritable from his drunken state, notices a familiar figure emerging from the bamboo grove—Ju Gui Wang, who has aged and bears a scar. Ju Gui Wang reveals he has been searching for Bai Xiao Chun for six months since the collapse of their world. Both express their despair over their lost lives and loved ones. They share a moment of camaraderie, drinking together, while reflecting on the possibility that others from their past may still be alive, looking up at the same stars in the night sky.
