Summary

In a cave, Bai Wang Yu and Wen Xiu Ru work to free an old man from chains, while Chang Yu alleviates his pain with talismans. Once unsealed, the old man attempts to attack Li Zi Ye, who warns him of his monstrous state. A fierce battle ensues, with Li Zi Ye and his companions using spells and swords to subdue the old man, who loses both arms in the process. Despite his fury, the old man is ultimately pinned down, and Li Zi Ye uses a peach wood sword to immobilize him. Afterward, they realize they cannot leave the altered land due to a formation, and Li Zi Ye decides to wait for five days for a safe exit.
