Summary

Hu Hong Si, a top operative in the Eight Winds Pavilion, seeks intelligence on the honeycomb crossbow blueprints to fulfill Li Yuanji's demands. He meets Hou Chun Lai, exchanging gold for a secret deployment map of the Yangtze River Navy. Despite Hou Chun Lai's reluctance to assist with the blueprints, he agrees to look for someone who can help for a commission. Meanwhile, at the Prince of Qi's residence, Hou Chun Lai reports to Zhang Xuan and Fang Xuan Ling about his dealings with Hu Hong Si. Zhang Xuan, angered by the Tang Dynasty's interest in the honeycomb crossbow, contemplates a strategy to prevent them from obtaining it, ultimately deciding to refuse Hu Hong Si's request.
