Summary

Su Bai arrives at the Academy and meets Mister Ji Gui, who is preparing for a lecture. After class, Ji Gui expresses concern about Su Bai's official duties and discusses Ji Chuan's martial arts training. Su Bai learns that his student, Qi Wen Qing, has been absent for two days, prompting him to accompany Fan Shan Wu to check on him. During the carriage ride, Fan Shan Wu reveals her worries about potentially being forced into an unwanted marriage, which deeply affects her.
