Summary

Wang Chong and his companions face immense pressure while ascending the white jade staircase, a trial designed for the Heavenly Souls. Xin Ba and Ta Ta Mu struggle with fear and exhaustion, while Wang Chong pushes through, feeling his strength wane. Despite the overwhelming fatigue and the threat of collapse, he perseveres, motivated by memories of those he wishes to protect. After enduring numerous cycles of pain, he finally reaches a point where the pressure eases, allowing him to recover. He realizes he is on the brink of achieving the Heavenly Soul status, a significant milestone in the Murloc sacred mountain's trials. However, upon reaching the peak, he finds no expected treasures or altars, only a surprising emptiness.
