Summary

In a sealed chamber filled with treasures, Yue Chen is introduced to various artifacts by a woman in a white dress. Among them is the Seven Treasures Linglong Tower, an ancient relic from the Ba He civilization, known for its demon-suppressing abilities. The woman also shows him silver armor from the West Sea civilization and a jade slip linked to the tower. As they converse, an old man appears, revealing himself as the shop owner from Duanmu. Tensions rise as the old man threatens Yue Chen, who remains calm despite being ensnared by thorny vines. The situation escalates, but Yue Chen's unique abilities allow him to break free, revealing the woman as a transformed dry wood. The old man, realizing the threat, escapes underground. Yue Chen then uses a transparent beetle to restore the woman, who is left barely alive. He then vanishes from the scene.
