The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Ximen Xue and Jin Xiao Chai arrive at a cliff where Ximen Xue uses a spell to open a hidden cave. Inside, they find a large stone door leading to a prison where Zhong Xiu is held. After a tense exchange, Ximen Xue reveals she killed an undercover agent, Zhao Xuan Ji, who was a threat to Zhong Xiu and Shi Mu. Despite Zhong Xiu's initial anger, she begins to question her understanding of the situation. Ximen Xue offers Zhong Xiu freedom, stating they are no longer aligned with the Heavenly Court. However, as they attempt to leave, they are confronted by the Fifth Celestial General and his followers, who aim to capture Zhong Xiu to force Shi Mu's compliance. A battle ensues, with Ximen Xue struggling against the Fifth Celestial General's powers.
