Summary

In the city of Myriad Phenomena, Chao Sheng Huai, a disciple of the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect, is lured into a trap at an inn. After being immobilized by an assailant, he is killed instantly. The assailant, part of a group led by Wu Zhao Hang, disposes of Chao's body in a lake, fearing the implications of his knowledge about Yuan Gang's control over the Rakshasa. Niu You Dao orchestrates this assassination due to the threat Chao poses, as he could expose secrets involving the Sacred Realm and the Mysterious Pavilion. Niu You Dao's plans become complicated when he faces unexpected challenges, including pressure from Chao Jing and the arrival of Huang Ban, which disrupts his schemes.
