Summary

An Zheng, Chen Shao Bai, and Du Shoushou hide on a tree branch, planning to ambush wolf-like beasts scouting for fleeing cultivators. They strategize to take down the scouts to avoid the rest of the beast army. As they prepare for battle, a massive army of elephant-tiger beasts emerges, and An Zheng leads the charge to save captured cultivators. However, one young cultivator, Gao Xiao Bo, betrays An Zheng, attempting to kill him for treasures. An Zheng easily overpowers him and throws him into the beast horde. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure observes An Zheng from afar, connected to the Great Xi army's command through a crystal device, indicating a larger conflict at play.
