Summary

Yun Lang struggles with a troublesome dwarf, trapped in a carriage. Despite the dwarf's annoying behavior, Yun Lang refrains from killing him. The dwarf, who served the emperor for 15 years, advises Yun Lang to appear pitiful to remove the emperor's prejudice against him. Yun Lang follows this advice, injuring himself to gain sympathy. The emperor, amused by Yun Lang's plight, ends the punishment. Yun Lang, though achieving his goal, feels detached from the insincere court environment.
