Summary

In the ninth layer of the Immortal Refining Tower, Mo Wuji enters the Thunder Refining Room, where he activates the refining process using a jade tablet. The room is large and empty, with handles for starting, stopping, and opening the door. Mo Wuji begins refining his meridians using lightning arcs that strike the center of the room. Despite suffering injuries, he persists, believing that willpower is crucial for his progress. He successfully opens his thirty-sixth meridian but later struggles as the opening meridian elixirs lose effectiveness. After a painful experience, he questions his potential and feels a sense of loss. However, he resolves to find new methods for cultivation, reaffirming his determination to succeed despite being an ordinary root.
