Summary

Xu Liao curses the three monsters, realizing their special abilities after a fierce battle. He narrowly escapes their attacks using his Heavenly Demon’s Killing of Immortals technique and defeats them with his ancient battle knife. After slaying them, he challenges Sun Zhong Hu, who unexpectedly flees. Xu Liao reflects on the chilling intent behind Sun Zhong Hu's actions and frees the captives from the monsters. He later receives praise from Long Qi Er, who offers him a promotion to junior investigator and an opportunity to study at the Eighteen Immortals Sect.
