Summary

Han Gang unexpectedly receives a task to guard an armory after a confrontation with Huang Daliu. The Qin Prefecture, a vital border area, houses several armories, with the one he is assigned to being a remote spare weapons warehouse. Accompanied by Li Liu, a local official, Han Gang learns about the high costs associated with securing government jobs. Upon arrival, he encounters two soldiers and Zhou Feng, the previous guard, who is forcibly removed. Han Gang realizes the danger he faces, as Huang Daliu's influence looms over him, and the armory may be a trap. Despite the tension, he maintains a calm demeanor, aware of the stakes involved.
