Summary

Ximen Lian experiences a terrifying day at the funeral home when an elderly lady he had prepared for burial mysteriously vanishes, only to later be found serene in her coffin. During the cremation, she unexpectedly sits up, causing Ximen to faint. Afterward, he is haunted by shadowy figures in the mortuary and at home, reminiscent of those he saw earlier. In a panic, he tries to seek help from his supervisor, Xia Guan Chang, who scolds him before providing emergency advice. Following Xia's instructions, Ximen uses salt and other salty items to ward off the shadows, finally finding relief at dawn.
