Summary

Old Ma encounters a villager who informs him about a commotion caused by Qian Qiu Men disciples cornering a remnant of the San Jie Shen Jiao. Despite Old Ma's initial reluctance, he and his friend Lu Chen decide to observe the situation. They witness a young man, injured and pleading for mercy from a middle-aged leader of Qian Qiu Men, who hesitates but ultimately prepares to condemn him. In a shocking turn, the young man attacks the leader with a poisoned dagger, leading to a chaotic battle. The young man is quickly overwhelmed and killed by the other disciples. The scene leaves the onlookers shaken, and discussions about the San Jie Shen Jiao arise, revealing its identity as an ancient sect that believes in gods, humans, and spirits.
