Summary

Hao Qi and Zhang Heng encounter two quasi-inner force realm experts from the Lan family, whom Hao Qi easily defeats in under ten seconds. Despite their physical prowess, these men display exceptional martial arts skills and cooperative combat techniques. Hao Qi notes that they are about 20% stronger than their mainland counterparts, making them formidable opponents. However, they remain mortals, reliant on their physical bodies and subject to immense hunger. The two men, injured and terrified, are dragged by Hao Qi and Zhang Heng to a brutal plant breeding workshop, where they face a gruesome fate involving carnivorous plants that slowly consume their bodies. As they express their desperation, one of them, Lan Qi, reveals his lowly status within the Lan family and offers to divulge information about their organization in exchange for a quick death. Hao Qi begins to question him about their origins and the nature of their tasks, setting the stage for further revelations.
