The Heroic Journey Across the World.
Chapter 10: Green Harbor. [130]
Summary
The southern part of Blue Hainan is characterized by dense forests and is known as the Endless Forest, which is more terrifying than the western deserts. Su Shiyan expresses fear after reviewing intelligence about the area, prompting Hao Qi to question her. Lan Ling Er explains the dangers of the forest, filled with insects and mud, leading to amusement from the boys. The group travels on the Nautilus to the United Forest States, where they are awed by a giant Sky-Piercing Tree at the Green Port, a national symbol. Curiosity about the tree's height leads to discussions about the legendary Tree of the World, which is said to be over 30,000 meters tall. The boys' excitement delays their journey to the capital for an extra day as they explore the young Sky-Piercing Tree. Meanwhile, a middle-aged man in the Endless Forest coughs violently, hinting at a looming urgency for Lan Ling Er and her companions to arrive.Full content
