Chapter 10: From Now On, I Will Protect You (Third Update) [10]
Summary
Tang Wu Lin undergoes a test by Mang Tian, a blacksmith, to determine if he has the innate divine strength required to become a blacksmith. Despite his young age of six, Tang Wu Lin perseveres through the test, swinging a pair of iron hammers over a hundred times, causing his arms to become severely bruised and swollen. Mang Tian is impressed not only by Tang Wu Lin's strength but also by his unwavering determination. After the test, Tang Wu Lin returns home with his mother, Lang Yue, who is shocked by the state of his arms. Tang Wu Lin is excited to share the news with his friend Na Er, who has been living with them. Na Er is a young girl who has lost her memory and is trying to adjust to her new life. Tang Wu Lin reassures Na Er that she is part of their family and promises to work hard to become a Soul Scholar and protect her. The two children bond over dinner, with Na Er feeding Tang Wu Lin due to his injured arm. The chapter ends with a heartwarming scene of the two children enjoying each other's company.Full content
