Summary

In Black Dragon Village, a mysterious rule dictates that on specific lunar month dates (3rd, 13th, 23rd), villagers must stay indoors during night due to terrifying ghostly wails from Black Dragon Mountain. No one, living or dead, was born on these dates except Chen San San. His mother Pei Shu, an outsider who broke the village's taboo by lighting a lamp, caused her family's death and her own descent into madness. Years later, she mysteriously appeared at village chief Chen Lao Gou's door, delivering a bizarre, laughing newborn baby before disappearing towards the mountain, leaving behind a supernatural and chilling mystery.
