Summary

In the southwest, a mountain called "Thorn Sky" rises impressively, featuring the grand entrance "Jiu Tian Men." A chubby Taoist, unbothered by worldly affairs, descends the mountain in search of delicacies. He encounters a snake, which he captures effortlessly, and heads to the nearby town, Mo Jia Zhen. There, he finds a bustling shop and orders plain noodles with beef slices and snake soup. While eating, he notices a little ghost eyeing his food, revealing a rare talent with deep spiritual roots. The Taoist offers the ghost snake soup, which the ghost eagerly consumes, hinting at a potential new disciple.
