Summary

Wen Jing Hui experiences confusion as he gains unfamiliar memories alongside his own. He rushes home upon hearing of his uncle's illness, only to be scolded for neglecting his studies. After a meal prepared by his aunt, he faints and is subsequently thrown into a river by his uncle and aunt, who plot to sell him into slavery. Rescued by villagers, Wen Jing Hui's fate hangs in the balance as his relatives scheme to rid themselves of him to secure their own interests. They attempt to sell him to a trafficker, but when he refuses, they resort to deceit, selling an innocent man in his place to achieve their goals.
