Summary

In a northeastern village, a household is abuzz as a woman, transformed into a wild creature resembling a yellow weasel, is examined by villagers and Taoist priests. The elderly priest expresses disgust over the situation, while a young boy, pushed into action, brutally confronts the woman. In the chaos, she expels a black smoke that takes the form of a weasel and escapes, causing panic among onlookers. The old Taoist instructs the husband on how to deal with the spirit, advising him to administer a medicine to his wife and to strategically lure the Yellow Immortal away from the village by sacrificing chickens at intervals.
