Summary

In the story, Chen Ming, a college student, faces challenges while working in an antique shop. After being scolded and dismissed by a stingy boss for accidentally dropping a decorative walnut, he leaves with an unpayable safe he found outside. Back at university, his friends mock the safe's worth, but Chen Ming is determined to sell it. Meanwhile, he struggles with feelings of inadequacy as he watches his wealthy roommate charm a campus beauty.
