Summary

Qin Yi, a 15-year-old disciple of the prestigious Lingyu Sect, practices diligently at dawn, despite feeling inferior compared to other recruits. He reflects on his past glories and the pride of his family but is troubled by his current standing, especially as his former acquaintance Rou Qin grows distant and starts dating a talented inner disciple. Facing ridicule from peers, particularly from Guang Yong Gao, who challenges him to a spar, Qin Yi decides to walk away, knowing he must reach the second level of the Mysterious Path to stand a chance. Upon returning home, he learns of the impending sect martial arts event, where failure to participate could lead to his dismissal.
