Summary

In August's heat, a group of young men observes a boy seemingly blind, carrying vegetables and a bucket of peanut oil. A little girl offers to help him cross the street, revealing he walks steadily, suggesting he can see. A Nuo, one of the young men, speculates about the boy's identity, recalling a classmate named Lin Qi Ye who had an accident causing blindness and mental issues.
