Chapter 1: A Glimpse that Lasts a Thousand Years, Suddenly Enlightened [0]
Summary
In the Sacred Land of Qing Xuan, Gu Xiu faces accusations of poisoning an Immortal Spirit Crane, leading to its death. As he is scolded by his master and senior sisters, he experiences a vivid illusion revealing his past life and the betrayal he endured. Gu Xiu had sacrificed himself for the sect, only to return and find his status diminished, with his cultivation destroyed and replaced by his junior brother, Jiang Xun. The illusion shows that Jiang Xun, fearing punishment for the crane's death, conspired with others to frame Gu Xiu. After being punished and reflecting on his past loyalty, Gu Xiu decides he no longer wants to live for the sect but for himself. He resolves to retrieve two opportunities that belong to him before leaving the sect. Upon returning to his residence, he encounters Jiang Xun, who expresses concern for him.Full content
