Summary

In 1975, an elderly woman named Li Ya Lai was murdered by her adopted son, Mr. Huang, after a financial dispute. He strangled her and hid her corpse under the kitchen stove in Ngau Tau Kok, Hong Kong. Neighbors reported hearing eerie cries at night, and blood dripping from the ceiling eventually led to the discovery of the crime. Huang was sentenced to life imprisonment. Later, a family who moved into the house experienced strange occurrences, including illness and nightmares, believed to be caused by Li's vengeful spirit. Huang was paroled in 1994 but committed suicide the same year, allegedly haunted by Li's ghost.
