Summary

In the Dao Shi realm, a Weng who was a fox shared a living space with a cultivator. During festivals, the Weng would always retreat, explaining that he didn't belong among the gods. One year, he narrowly escaped Ling Guan's pursuit, hiding in a filthy place to avoid capture near the Yellow River. After being contaminated and spending nearly a hundred days cleansing himself, he warned his friend about an impending calamity. The Dao Shi heeded his advice and relocated, and soon after, the chaos of the Jia Shen year occurred, validating the Weng's prophecy.
