Summary

In a sunless tropical rainforest, An Sheng, a skilled special forces operative, finds himself on the run after a botched anti-drug mission. With drug traffickers hot on his trail, he faces exhaustion and dwindling resources, armed only with a military knife and a single bullet meant for himself. Cornered at a cliff, he reflects on his comrades and prepares to sacrifice himself rather than be captured. As he leans back into the abyss, he loses consciousness, awakening in a dark, constricting space. An Sheng senses a light and instinctively reaches for it, but it eludes him as he is pushed forward by an unseen force.
