Summary

In Feng Yang, a scholar embarks on a journey, leaving his wife with promises of return. Months pass without word, and one night, a mysterious lady appears, inviting the wife to join her. They soon find the scholar, who is taken aback by their encounter. The lady suggests they rest at her home, where playful banter and flirtation ensue between the scholar and the lady, leaving the wife feeling despair. As the night deepens, her brother Saburo arrives, furious upon learning of the betrayal. However, it turns out to be a dream, and the next day, the scholar and wife experience a strange coincidence in their dreams, unaware of the lady's true identity.
