Summary

In a summer heatwave, Chen Hua Feng meets a mysterious man who seeks relief from the heat. After sharing cold wine, Chen discovers the man has a secret: he is the Harbinger of Bad Luck for livestock, having released a calf that will doom cattle within a hundred miles. The guest advises Chen to use Kushen powder as a remedy, but Chen selfishly withholds it, resulting in the death of most of his cattle. Eventually, he remembers the dirt left by the guest and uses it, successfully saving his remaining cattle. Chen learns that his initial failure was due to his greed. Years later, his herd recovers.
