Summary

In the town of Yu Xiang, Tang Tai Shi Ji Wu, a spirited youth, encountered a Ni Gui in a temple. Captivated by its glassy eyes, he mischievously pried one out and took it home. Soon after, his cousin fell ill, awakening to accuse Tai Shi of the act. The family decided he should return the eye, prompting Tai Shi to declare his departure before collapsing. Upon regaining consciousness, he was unaware of the events. The eye was eventually returned to the Ni Gui, prompting reflections on the actions and motivations behind Tai Shi's impulsive behavior, highlighting the consequences of his mischief.
