Summary

In the mountains of Yidu, Li Hui Dou encounters a group drinking, who welcome Li Zhi enthusiastically. As they enjoy food and wine, a mysterious Shan Shen appears—a figure with an extraordinarily long, narrow face wearing a tall hat. The group immediately scatters in fear. Li hides in a pit and later discovers all food and wine have disappeared, replaced only by a broken pottery jar containing foul liquid and lizards, suggesting the supernatural nature of the Shan Shen encounter.
