Summary

A chilling tale from Sun Tai Bai about his great-grandfather's encounter with a mountain demon at Liu Gou Temple. While resting in his room, he was confronted by a massive ghost with crow-like skin, enormous mouth, and long teeth. When the ghost entered his room, he attempted to defend himself with a hidden dagger, striking the creature. The enraged ghost grabbed his quilt and dragged him to the ground. His family discovered claw marks resembling a winnowing basket, penetrating through the door. Terrified by the supernatural encounter, they quickly left the temple without further investigation.
