Summary

Shi Tai Pu, initially disdainful of exorcism, became a skilled practitioner after meeting a Daoist who imparted secret knowledge. He encountered a wealthy elder whose daughter was possessed by a ghost, leading him to perform a ritual. As he got closer to the daughter, Chang Ting, he became distracted by her beauty and neglected the haunting. Eventually, Chang Ting fled from her family, seeking refuge with Shi. Despite their bond, familial obligations and misunderstandings caused them pain. After years apart, they reunited during a time of grief, but Chang Ting's strict family duties forced her to leave again.
