Summary

In this tale, Yu Gong encounters a fortune-teller who predicts his death within three days. Despite warnings and friends' pleas, Yu Gong refuses to pay the fortune-teller's fee. On the predicted night, he faces supernatural attacks from paper figures, ghostly creatures, and a wooden puppet. Through his martial skills, Yu Gong survives these encounters. He eventually tracks down the fortune-teller, uses dog's blood to break the spell, and has the fortune-teller executed, revealing the deceptive nature of fortune-telling and the dangers of manipulating fate.
