Summary

Luo Zu, born into humble beginnings, was chosen to guard the northern border. After three years away for military duty, he returned to find his family safe but suspicious of infidelity due to a man's shoe under the bed. Confronting his friend Li, who had cared for his family, Luo chose not to kill him despite his rage. Authorities executed Li and his wife without evidence. Years later, Luo was found living in a cave, refusing food, until he passed away. The locals built a temple in his honor, and his son, known as Little Luo Zu, continued to collect incense taxes from visitors, commemorating his father's legacy.
