Summary

Zhu Qing, a Hunan native, faced hardship after failing the imperial exam and struggled with poverty. Seeking refuge in Wu Wang Temple, he was transformed into a crow by the king. He found companionship with a female crow, Zhu Qing, but after being shot, he died despite her efforts to save him. Awakening in the temple, he later returned home, honoring Zhu Qing's memory. After a series of events, including a reunion with Zhu Qing, who had become a deity, they had a son, Han Chan. Over time, Han Chan grew, and after a tragic illness, Zhu Qing mourned deeply. Eventually, their family dynamics shifted, leading to new generations and separations, highlighting the themes of love and loss.
