Summary

In "A Mysterious Encounter," Chang Shan Li Xiao Lian meets a group of scarred individuals on his journey to Qing Zhou. They recount a harrowing experience of being attacked by a giant who devoured their horses. After a terrifying encounter with two giants, the group finds refuge with a man in a stone chamber. His sister arrives with tigers and vows to eliminate the monsters. Despite her injuries, she helps the guests with medicinal powder to ease their pain. As dawn breaks, she guides them to their belongings before parting ways.
